Thanks to everybody who bought tickets and who volunteered, including Sheri Hanson and the rest of the decorators who made Carl Purdy Hall look so elegant. No official count yet, but last I heard, the number of attendees was 350+ and climbing.

Thanks to Paula Samonte and her Band, who got people up and dancing with their first song and all night long. And thanks to the caterers, Kilkenny Kitchen Catering -- the food was delicious, I'd love to have the recipe for those gratin potatoes. But most thanks go to Ginger Pohlson, who organized this extraordinary event for Mendocino County Democrats and Obama supporters to celebrate this extraordinary occasion.
